Dr. Jeries Nader Qoborsi

DDS · Diplomate, ABOI/ID · Fellow, AAID

I focus on dental implant surgery: single implants, full-arch reconstruction, bone grafting, and wisdom teeth, with IV sedation for patients who want to be comfortable. I work alongside general dentists in their own offices, so patients get their surgery in a place they already know.

A note from Dr. Qoborsi

If your dentist sent you here, welcome.

Being referred for surgery can feel like a big step, so I want you to know who you will be working with. I have focused on implant surgery for my entire career.

Your surgery happens in your own dentist's office, with a team you already know. Before anything is scheduled, your dentist and I plan your case together from your 3D scan, and I walk you through it so you know what to expect.

After surgery, you will have a direct way to reach me. If something doesn't feel right, I want to hear from you.

What patients care about most

Your comfort

IV moderate sedation is available when it is appropriate for your health. You stay relaxed and drowsy, able to breathe on your own and respond, and you may not remember much of the procedure.

Your safety

Your medical history is reviewed before every surgery, and your vital signs are monitored throughout sedation. I hold a California IV moderate sedation permit.

Real experience

Implant surgery has been the focus of my training and practice from the start, and I am board certified in implant dentistry.

Your dentist stays involved

Your dentist receives my notes the same day and makes your final teeth, so your care stays with someone you already know.

Care I provide

What I do

Dental implants

Single and multiple implants, often placed the same day a tooth is removed when the bone allows, so you have one surgery instead of two.

Full-arch reconstruction

For patients losing most or all of their teeth: a fixed set of teeth on implants, often with a temporary set of teeth placed the same day when appropriate. Includes pterygoid implants when bone in the back of the upper jaw is limited.

Wisdom teeth

Impacted and difficult wisdom teeth and other surgical extractions, with sedation available, often completed in a single visit.

Bone grafting & sinus lifts

Rebuilding bone so an implant has a solid foundation, including socket preservation, ridge grafting, and sinus lifts, using PRF from your own blood to support healing.

IV sedation

IV moderate sedation for anxious patients or longer procedures, when appropriate for your health, with medical screening beforehand and monitoring throughout.

Planned with your dentist

Every case is planned from 3D CBCT imaging together with your general dentist before surgery day, and they receive my notes the same day.

What to expect

From your first visit to your new teeth

  1. 01

    Consultation

We meet at your dentist's office, look at your 3D scan together, and talk through your options. Bring every question you have.

  2. 02

    Your plan

You get a clear plan, your sedation choice, and simple instructions for how to prepare, so you know exactly what is happening and when.

  3. 03

    Surgery day

Your procedure takes place at your dentist's office. If you have sedation, you will be monitored throughout, and your driver will take you home afterward.

  4. 04

    Recovery

You leave with written aftercare instructions and a way to reach me directly. Once you have healed, your dentist completes your final teeth.

Common questions

What patients usually ask me

Will I be asleep?

No. IV moderate sedation is not general anesthesia. You are relaxed and drowsy, breathing on your own, and able to respond, and you may not remember much afterward. The area is also numbed with local anesthesia.

Do I need someone to drive me?

Yes, if you have sedation. You will need a responsible adult to drive you home and stay with you afterward. You will receive written instructions before your appointment.

How do insurance and payment work?

Your surgery is billed through your dentist's office, so their team will go over costs and insurance with you before anything is scheduled.

What if I have questions after surgery?

You will leave with written instructions and a direct way to reach me. Questions after surgery come to me, not to a front desk.

How to work with me

For patients

I see patients at partner dental offices across Orange County and Southern California. If your dentist referred you to me, your consultation and surgery are scheduled through their office.

Don't have a referral yet? Email me and I will tell you which partner office is closest to you.

For dentists

I partner with general practices to provide planned surgery days in their own operatories, so their patients and restorative work stay with them.

If you would like to talk about working together, email doc@drqoborsi.com and I will get back to you directly.
